Here’s the Deal
You’ll be working 12-hour shifts (they rotate, so you’ll get plenty of days off). Your main job is keeping materials flowing – getting stuff to the production lines, moving finished products to shipping, handling recycling, and making sure everything runs without a hitch.
Day-to-Day Stuff
- Drive different types of forklifts (we’ll make sure you’re certified on all of them)
- Do quick safety checks on your forklift each shift
- Move raw materials where they need to go
- Handle finished products and get them ready for shipping
- Swap out propane tanks and charge batteries
- Run the stretch wrap machine
- Operate balers and compactors for recycling and trash
- Keep your area clean and safe
- Help out new folks learning the ropes
- Pretty much anything that keeps production moving
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED is nice to have
- Some warehouse experience (a year or so is ideal)
- Must have your forklift certification
- Know basic math
- Can communicate clearly with the team
- Know your way around a computer (email, Excel, Word – nothing crazy)
- Okay with 12-hour shifts and rotating schedule
- Just be someone who shows up, works hard, and gets along with people
