Job Position: Long Haul Truck Driver Job in Canada – LMIA Pending

Salary: $37.00 hourly / 30 to 60 hours per week

This isn’t your typical 9-to-5. You’ll be operating straight or articulated trucks (mostly flatbeds and B-trains), transporting goods across borders and through all kinds of scenery. You’ll often work as part of a two-person team or a convoy, so there’s always someone to have your back.

Your main responsibilities will be

• Driving safely and managing your cargo (including tarping and loading/unloading).
• Staying on top of inspections—checking your tires, brakes, and lights before and during every trip.
• Handling basic roadside fixes and brake adjustments if things get bumpy.
• Keeping in touch with dispatch and logging your miles and fuel.

What You’ll Need to Bring

• License: You must have a Class 1 or A Driver’s License with an Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Experience: While we love experienced drivers, we are willing to train the right people.
• The Language: You’ll need to be comfortable communicating in English.
• Availability: You should be excited about long-haul travel, including international routes, overnight stays, and being away for extended periods.
• Physicality: You should be comfortable sitting for long stretches and able to handle loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
