You don’t need a diploma or years of experience—if you have a good attitude and a strong pair of hands, we’ll provide all the training you need.

What the work is really like

Working in a meat processing plant is steady, honest work. It’s a physical job that keeps you moving:

• The Craft: You’ll be responsible for removing bones and preparing meat with precision using professional knives.
• The Environment: It’s a specialized setting. You’ll be working in a refrigerated (cold) environment that can be noisy and has the typical odors of a meat packing plant.
• The Pace: The work is repetitive and physically demanding. You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift, so staying focused and having an eye for detail is key.
• The Team: You’ll be working alongside a large crew. We rely on each other to keep the line moving safely and efficiently.

Who we’re looking for

• The Language: Since we are located in Quebec, you’ll need to be able to communicate in French.
• Experience Level: Will train! Whether you’ve done this before or you’re brand new to the industry, we’ll teach you the skills.
• The Fit: You’re a team player who is reliable and ready for physical labor.
• The Basics: You must be able to pass a criminal record check and be willing to work on-site in Saint-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska.
