Are you an experienced butcher looking for a change of scenery? Or maybe you’re a skilled cutter who’s ready to start leading a team? At New World Browns Bay, we’re looking for a Butcher or a Butchery 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to join our top-performing team.

We take our meat seriously here, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’re a community-focused store where everyone chips in, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow with us.

What the job looks like

You’ll be a key part of our skilled team, making sure our customers get the best cuts in Auckland. Your day will involve:

• The Craft: High-quality breaking, cutting, and preparing a wide range of meats.
• Innovation: Helping us with “value-added” products (if you know SAP, that’s a bonus!).
• Standards: Keeping things tidy and following food safety rules to the letter.
• Stepping Up: If you’re eyeing that 2IC role, we’ll give you all the training and support you need to develop your leadership skills and help run the department.
