Are you an experienced equipment operator who loves the outdoor life in the Pacific Northwest? Dog River Ranch is gearing up for a massive 2026 season, and we’re looking for 96 hardworking people to join our team in beautiful Parkdale.

What the work actually looks like

This isn’t just sitting in a cab all day. It’s a hands-on, active role where you’ll be the backbone of our agricultural production. You’ll be:

• Operating the Big Stuff: Driving and tending to tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
• Maintenance & Setup: Attaching plows or harvesters, and doing basic repairs to keep the machinery humming.
• Moving & Loading: Using forklifts and augers to load crops, seeds, and fertilizers.
• In the Fields: Helping with planting, irrigation, and even driving trucks on public roads to haul supplies and tools.
• Problem Solving: Listening to the machines, adjusting mechanisms, and reporting any malfunctions before they become big problems.

What you’ll need to bring

We’re looking for people who have a “can-do” attitude and aren’t afraid of a hard day’s work.

• Experience: You need at least 1 month of experience working specifically with fruit trees.
• Physical Strength: You’ll need to lift up to 60 lbs. We believe in safety, so if it’s heavier than that, you’ll grab a partner to help!
• Toughness: You’ll be working in the elements—from freezing mornings to 100-degree afternoons.
• Stamina: Be ready for a lot of walking, bending, stooping, and repetitive movement. It’s a workout!
