We’re Bonial (you might know our apps kaufDA and MeinProspekt in Germany or Bonial in France). We’re essentially the bridge between people and their favorite local shops. Right now, we’re helping the entire retail world move from old-school paper flyers to a slick digital experience, and we need a Senior Android Engineer to help us lead that charge.

The Real Talk: What you’ll actually do

You won’t just be a ticket-crusher. You’ll be a core part of our mobile team. On a daily basis, that looks like:

• Building cool stuff: Using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to create features that millions of people actually use to save money and find deals.
• Keeping it clean: We care about SOLID principles and high-quality code. You’ll be writing tests (Unit, UI, Integration) because we like sleeping soundly at night knowing our apps work.
• Being a Mentor: We have talented juniors who are hungry to learn. We’re looking for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge and leveling up the team.
• Architecture & Tech: You’ll get your hands into AWS, Firebase, and Bitrise. Plus, if you’re curious about KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform) or Flutter, we’re all for challenging the status quo.

What you bring to the table

We’re not looking for a “ninja” or a “rockstar”—just a solid engineer who knows their stuff:

• You’re a pro with Kotlin, Coroutines, and Compose.
• You’ve worked on big projects before and understand how to navigate complex codebases.
• You’re a team player. We do pair programming and deep code reviews because we believe we’re better together.
• You speak English fluently. (Don’t worry about your German—Berlin is super international, and our office is too!)
