The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the AP team, preparing audit and tax requests, and assisting with various accounting/reporting functions. Responsible for Business Unit accounting/reporting for Interiors Group [IG] including manufacturing accounting for a plant and IG FP&A, providing financial reports to IG BU lead and MFG team.
TheSenior Accounting Managerwill report tothe Director of Financial Reporting & Accounting.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage AP Team, provide leadership to AP Supervisor and China Shared Service Team
- Responsible for Interiors Group Accounting, including Manufacturing for Brownsville Plant
- FP&A and project support for VP of Interiors Group
- Work alongside Director of Financial reporting & Accounting for corporate, to include:
- Month end accounting / reporting functions & controls
- Annual financial statement audit & tax requests
- Annual 401(k) & other audit requests
- Manage lease agreements and payment schedules
- Assist with rebate processes & support staff accounting
- Assist with monthly commission reports and annual bonus calculation, analyzing Commission vs. Salary for subset of sales consultants
- Ad hoc projects including system related changes/implementation
Qualifications Include:
- Required – Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance / Preferred – CPA or Masters Degree
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Microsoft office with strong excel knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and vlookups
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Preferred – Public accounting firm experience and JDEdwards EnterpriseOne and Hubble experience
