We are currently recruiting qualified Clinical Midwives who are looking for an exciting career opportunity in Albany, Western Australia!About the ROLEIn this role you will be responsible for the provision of high quality and consumer focused nursing using a wide range of nursing skills to care for a variety of patients as part of a supportive and passionate multidisciplinary team.This is a rewarding and interesting role where you will:

  • Provide evidence-based advanced nursing care relevant to the practice setting and is accountable for the delegation of care in accordance with the NMBA Decision-Making Framework.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team and family meetings to ensure a high standard of consumer focused, evidence-based care delivery, safe and timely discharge and coordinated patient reviews.
  • Undertake the function of hospital coordinator when no Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) or CNM-After Hours is present; including the implementation of management strategies, forward resource (human and equipment) planning and appropriate escalation of care or concern for support.
