Scarborough Area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Retired Farm Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.

Due to the accommodation, the position will be best suited to a retired couple with no kids.

Farm managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of a farm. They have a variety of duties, including planning and implementing the farm’s annual budget, managing the workforce, and managing livestock. Farm managers are also responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers and distributors, as well as overseeing the quality of products and services.

Retired Farm Manager Requirements

• Agricultural background advantageous
• Previous experience in either nature reserve or equivalent lodge management advantageous
• Passion for fynbos advantageous
• Computer literate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Mechanically and maintenance orientated
• Valid drivers license
