At Cardrona, we’re famous for legendary skiing and snowboarding experiences. But none of that happens without a fleet of perfectly maintained machines. We’re looking for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team year-round to keep our grooming fleet and resort vehicles in peak condition.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Lead Mechanic, you’ll be the backbone of our winter and summer operations. Your day-to-day will involve:

• The Big Stuff: Maintenance and repair of our grooming machines (specifically Kassbohrer and Prinoth models).
• Deep Tech: Troubleshooting hydraulics, hydrostatic drive systems, and electrical systems (12V & 24V), including CAN bus diagnostics.
• Resort Fleet: Keeping our 4WDs, facilities, and plant equipment running smoothly.
• Smart Maintenance: Following planned maintenance schedules, conducting oil sampling, and keeping our digital logs (Excel/Word/Snowsat) up to date.

What We’re Looking For

• The Paperwork: You’re a Qualified Diesel Mechanic (or have a relevant mechanical/engineering trade qualification).
• The Know-How: You have hands-on experience with groomers (Kassbohrer/Prinoth) and understand hydrostatic drives.
• The Tools: Welding and fabrication skills are a huge plus!
• On the Road: You’ll need a Class 1 license. If you have Class 2 or W, T, & R endorsements, even better.
• The Mindset: You’re a problem solver who takes pride in high-quality work and doesn’t mind the mountain environment.
