Farm Hand Gardener:

We are looking for a full-time Gardener / Farm Hand to help care for some of our animals (chickens and rabbits) and to help tend to our ever growing garden! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team that supplies food for 3 of Canada’s top restaurants! Working directly with our team of chefs, is an amazing opportunity for the recent graduate and experienced gardeners alike. Our garden includes rare vegetables, herbs, and flowers from Africa and Asia. It is definitely an opportunity for you to gain experience with produce you can not normally find in Canada.

SALARY & BENEFITS: $17-25/ Hour based on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tending to garden
Troubleshooting growth problems in vegetation
Feeding, cleaning, and watering of livestock
Weeding
Drip irrigation
Harvesting
Performing other duties as assigned and consistent with the position

Completion of horticultural or agricultural based education
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Intense focus on excellence
Ability to work early hours (6 am-2 pm)
Must have own vehicle and be able to drive
