Right now, we’re looking for a talented backend engineer to join our Anti-Fraud Solutions team—a group of specialists who build systems that fight digital fraud in real time.
What the Anti-Fraud Team Does
Fraudulent activity eats up a huge chunk of global ad spend—some studies say nearly 1 in every 5 dollars is lost to fraud. We’re not okay with that.
So we’ve built a powerful combination of:
- A distributed backend platform that works seamlessly with our partners’ tools
- A unique Android SDK that detects device tampering and unusual behaviors
- Advanced techniques to detect proxy use, traffic anomalies, and software modification
We’re constantly developing new ways to stay ahead of fraudsters. Every signal we process, every data point we analyze, is about one thing: protecting our partners’ ad budgets.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key part of the team, building and scaling the backend systems that make our anti-fraud engine run like clockwork. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Designing and maintaining services written almost entirely in Go
- Handling real-time event streams using Kafka, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.
- Building reliable microservices that talk to our Android SDK and web-based frontend
- Working with databases like Scylla and DynamoDB, optimizing them for lightning-fast queries
- Partnering with data scientists to investigate fraudulent behaviors and build defenses
- Enhancing our VPN and proxy detection systems
- Managing billions of incoming events per day—and making them queryable in seconds

Who You Are
This role is for someone who enjoys performance, scale, and getting into the details of systems and data. If you check off most of the list below, we want to hear from you:
- 4+ years in software development, with 3+ years of hands-on Go experience
- Solid understanding of HTTP, regex, encoding, and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing fundamentals
- Experience working with large-scale backend architectures
- Comfortable working in a highly technical, product-driven environment
- Willing to relocate to Hamburg (we’ll support your move and visa process)
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with:
- Docker + orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
