What You’ll Earn
Full-time/Part-time: $65,000–$80,000 per year (plus 12% superannuation on top)
Casual rates:
First 3 months:
- Weekdays: $30.35/hr
- Weekends: $36.42/hr
- Public holidays: $60.70/hr
After 3 months (automatic increase):
- Weekdays: $31.19/hr
- Weekends: $37.43/hr
- Public holidays: $62.38/hr (Plus 12% superannuation)
First 3 months:
- Weekdays: $30.35/hr
- Weekends: $36.42/hr
- Public holidays: $60.70/hr
After 3 months (automatic increase):
- Weekdays: $31.19/hr
- Weekends: $37.43/hr
- Public holidays: $62.38/hr (Plus 12% superannuation)
What We’re Looking For
- You don’t need Japanese cuisine experience, but Australian hospitality qualifications are a plus
- Kitchen roles need some relevant Australian hospitality qualification
- At least 1 year of commercial kitchen experience
- Valid Australian work rights (absolutely essential)
What Each Role Involves
Store Manager
- Run the whole show—oversee daily operations on-site
- Manage staff and delegate tasks
- Keep service quality high
- Handle maintenance and operational issues
- Train and develop your team
- Control inventory and minimize waste
Chef
- Prepare and cook all menu items
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage your section of the kitchen
- Keep food quality consistent from start to finish
- Communicate with management and front-of-house about food issues
- Train staff and manage deliveries
- Keep accurate inventory records
- Order ingredients and supplies
Cook
- Prep ingredients and cook food to our standards
- Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic
- Manage stock and supplies
- Work well with the team
Floor Manager
- Organize staff schedules and shifts
- Deal with customer complaints and questions professionally
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and hygiene
- Make sure orders flow smoothly and service runs efficiently
- Monitor and restock inventory
- Review sales and suggest ways to improve
- Train new and existing staff
- Handle safety protocols and emergencies
Roll Maker
- Prep ingredients and make sushi
- Cook according to company standards
- Keep your workstation clean and hygienic
- Manage and prepare ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team
All Rounder (Floor)
- Seat customers and take orders
- Serve food and drinks
- Keep the dining area clean
- Chat with customers and make them feel welcome
