About the Role

We’re hiring full-time Early Childhood Teachers (either qualified or actively studying towards your degree) for our Boddington center.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Following REED’s values, Code of Conduct, and child protection policies
• Maintaining high standards and promoting ethical, responsible practices
• Supervising student teachers on placement when needed
• Planning and setting up engaging indoor and outdoor activities with different materials and equipment
• Watching how kids interact and learn, then using that to guide their social and emotional development
• Creating programs and lesson plans that actually get kids excited to learn
• Reading stories, playing games, and helping with language development
• Keeping an eye on outdoor play and making sure everyone’s safe
• Working closely with parents on their child’s daily routine
• Teaching and reinforcing good hygiene habits (yes, lots of handwashing reminders!)
• Making sure every activity helps build social skills, confidence, understanding, and coordination
• Spotting any signs of disabilities, illness, or emotional challenges so kids get the support they need
• Monitoring nutrition, safety, and wellbeing every single day
• Keeping parents in the loop about how their kids are progressing
• Being 100% committed to keeping children safe

What We Need From You

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or currently studying towards one)
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certificates
• Working With Children Check
• National Police Check
• Valid Class C driver’s license

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Problem-solving skills and an analytical approach
• Knowledge of child safety best practices
