Our Role
We are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our highly skilled trades people at our Makareao limestone processing plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager this role is responsible for managing and ensuring machine efficiency to support production requirement in safe working environment.
This position will require you to:
- Lead, facilitate and monitor quality of work in all aspects of maintenance and engineering function carried out by both internal and external team.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly designed, selected, installed and commissioned.
- Maintain and advise on the use and disposition of stock items, surplus items and equipment rental.
- Maximize equipment/machine uptime and reduce maintenance expenditures.
- Perform any such comparable duties as required by the Company from time to time and shall responds positively.

The successful candidate will have:
- a qualification in engineering or similar
- previous work experience in a manufacturing environment or a quarry (highly desirable)
- a strong knowledge of quality, engineering standards and government regulations
- experience in leading and guiding a team of mechanical and electrical trades people
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
