My client is an independent multi-disciplinary design and brand agency that are globally recognised for their creative and strategically led solutions. Experts in retail design, their impressive portfolio of clients including Adidas, Coles, David Jones, Australia Post and so many more!

With the founders stepping back, they are hiring for the newly created role of Director of Strategy & New business to work hand in hand with the newly appointment Managing director to guide, roadmap and impact the future of the agency.

This role will see you become the face of the agency, you will take the lead on:

Strategic planning both internally and with clients
Write new business and project proposals
Work to identify opportunities for elevate the client’s brands
Meetings with senior clients from large global organisations

Skills, experience & qualifications:

Retail experience – global or local in the UK, Europe or US – potentially working with the Real Estate, Operations or Store Design departments
Has a deep and broad knowledge of retail strategy and design including store fit outs, POS, brand identity etc
Proven success of writing proposals, briefs and responding to pitches
Able to deep dive into client’s needs and ideas to formulate reverse briefs and drive client growth
Strong stakeholder management, with previous experience working with global C-suite, Creative Directors and Designers
Has a love and passion for nurturing relationships, elevating brands and identifying opportunities for growth
Understanding of the technologies involved in retail – POS, stock systems, digital retail, sustainability and net zero, etc
Ability to answer critical questions around how brands are experienced by customers

** This role is open to talent local to Sydney and/ or talent looking to relocate within Australia or the UK and the US. The client will explore sponsorship opportunities for the right candidate **
