Summary of Job Duties: The Campus Network Analyst provides operational and project support for systems associated with the campus access networks and other related systems. The analyst will work closely with the Network Enterprise Systems team leader and Director of Infrastructure Systems to achieve the campus goal of a high-functioning access network. The job responsibilities for this position will be to operate network systems in a collaborative team environment with individual systems responsibilities assigned as needed in support of strategic goals.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in any field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least two years of formal IT-related job experience, including some in the field of data networking
Preferred Qualifications:
A network certification from a leading network technology vendor that displays proficiency in route/switch technology; ACSA, CCNA, or equivalent
At least five years of IT experience in a formal role, including at least three years in the field of data networking
IT related work experience in higher education
IT related work experience in a large enterprise of 1000+ employees
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail skills
Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
