Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Agriculture Parts Specialist to join our team. The Agriculture Parts Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our customers in the agriculture industry by providing them with the right parts and components for their agricultural machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of agricultural equipment, excellent customer service skills, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Parts Identification and Sourcing: Identify and catalog the parts and components required for various agricultural machinery models and brands.

Source parts from manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers, ensuring they meet quality standards and are compatible with the specific equipment.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of agricultural parts and components. Monitor stock levels, anticipate demand, and ensure availability of commonly used parts. Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.

Customer Service and Sales: Assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts for their agricultural machinery. Provide technical advice and answer inquiries regarding part compatibility, installation, and troubleshooting. Process customer orders, prepare invoices, and coordinate shipment and delivery logistics.

Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.

Technical Support: Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to troubleshoot and diagnose machinery issues. Provide guidance on parts replacement and repair, ensuring the correct parts are recommended.

Research and Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest agricultural equipment and parts trends. Research new product releases and technological advancements in the industry.

Analyze market demands and identify potential opportunities for new parts and components.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a technical or vocational degree).
• Proven experience as an Agriculture Parts Specialist or in a similar role within the agriculture or heavy equipment industry.
• Excellent knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment, including tractors, combines, harvesters, planters, and irrigation systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in parts identification and inventory management.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software for inventory management and order processing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and vendors.
