Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) is Saskatchewan’s largest Catholic school division, serving over 22,000 students across 50 schools in Saskatoon, Biggar, Humboldt, Warman and Martensville. We are committed to a robust response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action and to partnership with First Nations, Métis and Inuit families and communities. With a student population of more than 3,200 Indigenous students, together, we have developed a variety of programs to foster Indigenous student belonging, participation, and success. This includes a kindergarten to grade nine Cree Bilingual program at St. Frances Cree Bilingual School, Michif language programming at St. Michael Community School, cultural programming at Oskayak High School, a state-of-the-art fitness facility at E. D. Feehan Catholic High School, as well as a nationally recognized social pediatrics program at St. Mary’s Wellness and Education Centre.We are forever grateful to Indigenous educators, past and present, for their contributions to Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools.   • Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate
  • Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum, environment and assessment
  • Knowledge of First Nations, Métis and Inuit languages, histories and cultures
  • Association with First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities, kinship and organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently
  • Commitment to the principles of Catholic Education
  • Preference will be extended to graduates of ITEP, SUNTEP, First Nations University of Canada and other Indigenous teacher education programs
