Strategy Content Editor (hybrid) Job Details:

Nemours is seeking a Strategy Content Editor to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Jacksonville or Orlando, FL.

In this fast-paced role you will be responsible for initiating and managing various complex content and communication projects. This role will be responsible and accountable for the intake, prioritization, proposal, planning, development, and execution of compelling content to support strategy deployment, continuous improvement, project management and clinical pathways for the Nemours enterprise. The Content Manager will research, write and edit content (e.g., announcements, presentations, blog posts, white papers, articles, collateral material, executive briefings, infographics, video scripts, promotional material) that inform and educate, drive engagement, and support our dynamic operation and transformational strategy. This role will work closely with all roles and levels within the organization on the design and development of content for a wide range of audiences including executive leadership, board members, and external healthcare professionals.

The right candidate will have a strong bias for action, innovative and creative ideas and models, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests and tight timelines. The individual in this role will deliver polished, high quality work products that maintain Nemours brand standards. They will have a keen eye for design and details. The ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way is critical to success. They will possess the skills to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations which require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action with sometimes ambiguous information, and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups. They will also be highly detail-oriented and demonstrate sound communication while maintaining flexibility and composure. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals both inside and outside the company is critical.

Essential Functions

1. Effectively and proactively manages all internal and external communication and content development for strategy execution, including continuous improvement and project management, with an impeccable level of detail and exceptional quality.

2. Ability to manage content editorial processes by determining messaging, subject matter, timing, audience and medium, as well as measuring impact and effectiveness.

3. Manage all production processes for high quality content for a variety of communication channels and mediums, including newsletters, announcements, blog posts, town halls, intranet, videos, events, conference materials, and any other presentations or forums as they surface.

4. Expert at technical writing, communication and presenting compelling stories that drive strong associate engagement by independently gathering project details, results, displaying data and translating it into an approachable and cohesive celebratory story.

5. Creative thinker who can effectively translate complex ideas into clear and concise content.

6. Oversees monthly reporting for the enterprise and quarterly reporting and presentation for the board of directors, ensuring all information is consistent and accurate.

7. Seeks understanding of organizational models and functions in order to understand audience and partner needs, and learning preferences.

8. Proficient with MS Office and equipment, including a wide range of virtual platforms for seamless meeting logistics.

9. Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action required is addressed in a timely manner.

10. Understands and applies lean concepts and project management methods to effectively solve problems, manage and execute on external and internal projects, and enhances daily management systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree required, prefer in health care, marketing and communications, journalism, graphic design, or similar
