Work on critical national infrastructure2 x fixed term contractsMore flexibility, less one-size-fits-allWe are looking for 2 x Senior Data Warehouse Developers who are keen to drive solutions for complex problems individually and in a team-based environment. You will get some of the best learning experiences, with opportunity to implement an uplift of the payments systems data warehouse solution and work with team members who are passionate about protecting the security and stability of our technology estate. There are two roles available – 2 x fixed term contract until end March 2025Key Responsibilities:Perform systems analysis and design of changes to systemsMaintain a working knowledge of tools and software packages usedUndertake relevant research including the evaluation of new software, tools, and techniques, ensuring they are fit to the Bank’s enterprise architecture and standardsWork collaboratively with business stakeholders and peers to refine business requirements and to ensure they are metComply with and contribute to the development of the Bank’s policies, standards, and guidelines for software development, as well as tool selectionLead the identification/breakdown of development components and tasks, as well as estimationsGuide other developers as they work through development decisionsSupport cross team collaborationContribute to continuous improvement and innovationUndertake the coding for systems, as well as integration software services and perform code reviews for other developersEnsure written unit and integration tests for all developed code follow Bank’s standards and maintain test coveragePerform releases to test and production systems and manage the release and run process of new code into these environmentsAs a Senior Developer, you must demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in:Proven SSIS, SSRS and SSAS skills.Proven experience designing data warehouse solutionsStrong knowledge of SQL Server 2016 and aboveHave a curious and accountable mindsetExcellent communication skillsBe MoreWorking for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
