Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to build a bright future for WA’s digital entertainment industry.Job DescriptionThe OpportunityReporting to the Senior PMO Analyst, this role is accountable for driving capability uplift and growth within the PMO team, Program and Projects. The successful individual will be responsible in ensuring the Program and Project Management Framework and associated Methodology is adhered to.Key Accountabilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist with the development and embedding of portfolio management and prioritisation practices to align Program and Project identification and execution to strategy and goals.
  • Develop and release an assurance framework across the Portfolio, maintain an assurance calendar and undertake Program and Project assurance reviews.
  • Represent the PMO and contribute objectively and impartially to delivery forums, working groups and Steering Committees to support efficient delivery and support achievement of objectives.
  • Participate in and grow a business partnering model that encourages leaders to proactively seek the Portfolio Management Office’s guidance and feedback on creation of critical documentation, decision making and escalation path.
  • Contribute to improvement of existing processes to support the deployment of minimum delivery requirements, facilitate decision making and challenge.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting including development and suggestion of dashboards, insights, trend analysis and proactive identification of concerns to support Program and project success.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring across the various stakeholder groups on use and understanding of PMO tools, and governance and assurance best practice processes to encourage adoption and compliance.

QualificationsAbout You

  • Experience in maturing Program and Project Management frameworks.
  • Strong abilities in developing, owning and building capability in specific frameworks such as Project Assurance, Benefits Managment and Project Risk Management.
  • Experience in governing portfolios, programs and projects including undertaking assurance reviews and communication of outcomes.
  • Experience in project financials and budget controls.
  • Experience in managing a project portfolio management tool and identifying and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and present reports and information with the end outcome and audience in mind.
  • Ability to undertake a collaborative and fit-for-purpose approach dependent on the task and stakeholder.
  • Ability to prioritise and balance multiple tasks, manage expectations and work autonomously or within the team.
