Position: Production Supervisor – Packaging
Location: Montreal
Salary: $85K to $100K + bonus + 4 weeks of vacation + 7 PTOs
Shift: Day, Monday to Friday, from 06:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This is the busiest team, consisting of approximately 30 employees. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing 7 to 8 production lines per day. The company is looking for an individual who is present and available for employees, a coach, and a mentor. The department currently has 5 other Production Supervisors. The workforce has increased by 25% in recent months as the company is growing. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates maturity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to maintain relationships with senior team members.
Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager at the factory, the Production Supervisor – Packaging is responsible for overseeing the resources within the department to ensure production schedules are met, as well as coordinating and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities in the Packaging department. This includes ensuring product quality in compliance with safety rules, established standards, procedures, and current regulations.

Requirements:
– Ideally, 7 to 8 years of experience, with a flexibility of 4 to 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or regulated sectors
– Bilingual to communicate with head office in the US
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, in science or engineering
Compensation: experience-based salary with a 4 to 8% bonus, health insurance covering 90% (employee’s share is $7 every two weeks), participation in profit-sharing retirement savings (REER), 2 days of remote work per week, 3 days in the office, office located near Namur metro with free parking, 3 weeks of vacation + 7 flexible days (4 sick days, 3 personal days, no justification required).
