About us Cutri Fruit is a third generation family owned and operated business and one of Australia’s largest grower, packer and marketer of fresh nectarines, peaches, plums and avocados. We are based in North West Victoria (Swan Hill) in the heart of Australia’s “food bowl” with a great reputation for delivering high quality fruit. About the role This position is full-time, and may be required to work shifts, including weekends. This position reports to the Factory Manager. Auditing and monitoring quality procedures at farms and food handling and processing facilities to ensure compliance with required standards Testing samples of produce for quality, size and purity Ensuring that required standards of hygiene are observed at storage, processing and packing facilities and in transport vehicles Advising on the identification of pests and diseases and on regulations pertaining to grading, packing and loading of products Understanding of biosecurity protocols Skills / Experience required (key competencies, must haves): A proven record of skills and knowledge in agriculture/horticulture; Have considerable experience, fundamental knowledge and skills in farm operation; Able to analyse and solve problems Be a responsible person who can work in a team environment; Enthusiastic, professional attitude and understanding of the objectives of the business Skill Level: At least Cert III or IV or equivalent OR 5 years employment experience as a primary products inspector with no formal training.

Salary being offered is between $63,000 to $75,000, dependent on experience.
