Network Engineer Job Details:
A growing company in the suburbs is looking to her a Network Engineer to enhance, maintain, and manage their LAN/WAN environment. You will be working in a predominately Cisco environment and be responsible for routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls. The role is a mix of day to day maintenance as well as project based work. They are a hybrid environment so experience with AWS or Azure cloud is highly preferred
This is an enterprise environment so you will be working with some of the newest Cisco technologies. They need someone who has expertise monitoring and analyzing networks and who wants to grow their skill set. You will be working alongside Senior Engineers and Architects and assisting in upgrade, implementation, and migration projects. This is a great opportunity for career advancement. Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 Years LAN/WAN Expertise
- Strong Cisco Networking Experience, Cisco Meraki
- Experience with Catalyst & Nexus Switches
- Strong Cisco Routing Experience
- Expertise with Routing Protocols, BGP, EIGRP
- Strong Firewall Experience, Palo Alto
- Experience Setting up site to site VPNs
- Exposure to AWS or Azure Cloud
Desired Skills & Experience
- Cisco Certifications, CCNA, CCNP, CCDA
- SDWAN or SDN Experience
- Windows and/or Microsoft Knowledge
- Project Experience, Implementation, Upgrades, Migrations
