Position: Full-time & Part-time Math Teacher.
The roles you might be:
K-12 Math Instructor:

• Familiar with local mathematics teaching of local elementary and secondary school, SAT. Mathematics, SSAT Mathematics (familiar with two or more is preferred).
• Familiar with the BC curriculum Math and math competitions.
• Familiar with the North American education system.

AP Math Instructor (AP Calculus or AP Statistics):

• Proficiency in using the online platform for teaching.
• Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to test type and students.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the AP past paper.
• Tutor-tailored AP courses based on the student level and needs.
• Develop AP Prep Materials if needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field (Math, Education, etc.) with relevant education experience.
• Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
• Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
• Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
• Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
• Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
• Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.

Job Details:

• Full-time: At least 30 hours per week.
• Part-time: Total teaching hours vary based on your availability.
• Salary: $22.00-$35.00 per hour.
