Looking to join a fast-paced team in food manufacturing? Apple Valley Foods Inc. is on the lookout for 17 new team members to work in our busy production facility in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Whether you’re just getting started or have some experience, we provide full training — and there’s an LMIA in progress for eligible foreign workers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Mixing, measuring, and loading ingredients into machines
- Operating and feeding packaging/forming machines
- Checking for basic quality issues
- Packing products by hand and cleaning work areas
- Supporting machine operators and keeping things running smoothly
Work Environment
- Can be hot, cold, wet, or humid depending on the area
- On your feet and moving all day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
