• Seeking an experienced Fitter (Crusher) and Electrician
• Salary between $70,000 – $110,000

Rapid Crushing Group is currently in the process of recruiting for various positions for their Maddington and Mackay teams. Roles include:

• Fitter (Crusher)
• Electrician

Fitter (Crusher)

Applicants for this role must hold a nationally recognised Fitter Trade Certificate, and 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Read and understand OEM Maintenance Manuals and Schematic Diagrams
• Read and correctly interpret OEM Part Manuals
• Prepare adequate and suitable tooling for the task
• Effective and safe use of hand and power tools
• Installation/Removal of Crusher Liners in accordance with OEM Maintenance Manual
• Installation/Removal of Screen Cloths in accordance with the OEM Maintenance Manual
• Replace and rebuild bearings and gearboxes on plant (e.g. Conveyors, Crushers, Screens, etc.)
• Servicing and Fault find problems on Crushers, Screens, Conveyors and Hydraulic Packs
• Prepare plant for transport (Conveyors, Track Plant, etc.)
• Oxy Cut/Gouge and Notch
• Perform basic welding techniques (non-structural)

Electrician

Applicants must hold a nationally recognised Electrical Trade Certificate, a current WA Electrical licence, and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Additionally, applicants must have an up-to-date Senior First Aid Certificate.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Read and understand Maintenance Manuals and Schematic Diagrams
• Prepare adequate and suitable tooling for the task to be performed
• Effective and safe use of hand and power tools
• Fault find problems on Crushers, Screens, Conveyors and Hydraulic Packs
• Prepare plant for transport (Conveyors, Track Plant, etc.)
• Install and terminate Steel Wire Armoured Cable
• Comply with and understand AS3000 wiring rules and regulations
• Comply with and understand the mine site electrical regulations
• Comply with and understand Isolation Procedure’s
• Knowledge of Plant Interlocks

The successful applicants will be offered a salary between $70,000 – $110,000.
