About the role:
Chandler Macleod currently has a vacancy for a Farm Hand located at the Templers farm. Our client is a privately owned Australian company, providing premium quality poultry products throughout Australia.
Successful applicants will be completing general labour and farm tasks, including maintenance, working with roosters and chickens, cleaning out sheds, floor walking, and collecting eggs. Starting times may vary and occasional weekend shifts are to be expected. You will need to be fit, healthy, reliable and available to start immediately.
Skills and Requirements:

• Must not own or have regular contact with any birds, chicken or pigs due to quarantine restrictions
• Be a hard worker and physically fit
• Experience in repetitive manual handling, up to 20kgs
• Full-time availability for day shifts required
• Current drivers’ licence
• Be willing to work with live chickens and roosters
• Be reliable and have solid work references
• Suited to candidates who live in the Gawler area.
