Looking for a meaningful career, a supportive culture and the chance to grow? Whether you’re already working in early years or are just starting out, we’d love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.

As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Busselton:

At Goodstart Early Learning Busselton, we are a purpose built child care centre with five large, inviting play rooms. We are located close to community facilities as well as local schools and shops.

We offer high quality care supported by exciting planned learning experiences that are based on individual children’s needs, interests and abilities. All our educators are highly trained and experienced and enjoy working together as a team to ensure the best outcomes for all children.

All our rooms, from Nursery to Kindergarten are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside we have a wonderful balance of natural and manmade elements including a bike track, sandpits, swings, water play area and creek feature, wooden boat, lots of little park benches, a wooden bridge, lots of shade and space for exploring. We also have some lovely planter boxes and fruit trees which helps in the education of sustainability and the environment.

All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients including special dietary requirements – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

What Goodstart can offer you:

Better pay – you’ll get at least 5% above the award rate

50% discount off your childcare gap fees and 4 weeks paid parental leave – increasing to 6 weeks from December 2023
