Job Position: Dental Clinic Administrator (Work Permit/PR Sponsorship Available)

THIS IS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL OUT OF PROVINCE TO WORK IN NORTHERN ALBERTA FOR EXTENSIVE PERIODS OF TIME. EMPLOYER WILL COVER TRAVEL EXPENSES.
Job Overview:
As a Clinic Administrator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the medical clinic, ensuring smooth functioning, and providing administrative support. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, handling patient inquiries, maintaining medical records, and overseeing budgeting and human resources tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinic staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle patient inquiries, appointments, and scheduling to maintain a well-organized clinic flow.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records accurately and securely.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff including nurses and administrative personnel.
- Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for clinic operations.
- Address staff performance-related issues and provide necessary support and guidance.
Financial Oversight:
- Assist in budgeting processes and monitor expenses to ensure financial sustainability.
- Process billing, insurance claims, and handle financial transactions accurately.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and clinic policies.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to uphold high standards of care.
Human Resources Support:
- Manage HR functions such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and staff evaluations.
- Facilitate training programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Background in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a medical office setting.
Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Dentrix is advantageous.
- Experience in acute care settings or hospital administration is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
