Corporate Systems Engineer (O365 / GCC / CMMC) Job Details:

Quality Business Engineering, LLC (QBE) has an exciting opening for a Corporate Systems Engineer (O365 / GCC / CMMC) focused on Cyber Security and IT standardization for the QBE Corporation.

This position is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week (M, W, TR) onsite at QBE’s Haymarket, VA headquarters and allowing 2 days (T, F) remote work.

The ideal candidate will have critical thinking abilities and technical skills to help the company adopt, enhance, and transition the MS 365 suite to the GCC environment as well as implement CMMC requirements while improving existing IT systems and infrastructure for the company.

The successful candidate will drive the organization’s dynamic growth objectives through developing, operating & maintaining, and improving our complex IT environment both on-premises and in the cloud. This critical role is responsible for management of all O356. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing security logs for O365, implementing appropriate cyber security rules and maintaining standardized images and desktop security settings through O365 and other tools. This person will be responsible for recommending and implementing additional security controls and IT systems to further enhance the corporate IT systems.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience providing professional services for clients in the defense sector
  • 5+ years of installing and administering Windows Server enviornments
  • 5+ years managing Office 365
  • Experience with developing and managing cyber security infrastructure
  • Ability to proactively identify improvements for existing IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security enhancements
  • Ability to plan, propose, and execute projects with minimal oversight
  • Experience working with small and mid-sized clients in person, on the phone, and virtually
  • Clear understanding of networking technologies including routers, firewalls, and switches
  • Experience with monitoring services and handling afterhours on-call emergencies
  • Goal oriented and accountable to perform and achieve assigned objectives
  • Able to develop, work with, and manage new and existing teams to accomplish performance goals
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance at the Secret level
