Are you a passionate and skilled chef seeking an exciting opportunity? Australian Venue Co is hiring Chef de Parties and Sous Chefs for our regional Queensland venues.

Positions Available:

• Chef de Partie
• Sous Chef

Locations:

• Club Hotel, Gladstone
• The Strand, Yeppoon
• Berserker Tavern, Rockhampton

What We Offer:

• Sponsorship opportunity:
  • Applicants who opt for sponsorship will be eligible for visa subclass 482 application cost reimbursement after 2 years of employment.
  • AVC’s sponsorship program offers Financial Assistance Loans to support team member’s with their visa application costs. These loans are interest free and repaid via weekly salary deductions.
• Free temporary accommodation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes
• Manage and train kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Contribute to menu development
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Commitment to excellence and improvement
• Eligibility for visa subclass 482 (if applicable)
• Currently onshore
