Position Overview: As the Territory BD Manager for New Zealand, you will be instrumental in managing and augmenting sales within this region. Working closely with the National Sales Manager, your role encompasses driving sales, nurturing accounts, facilitating medical trials, negotiating proposals, and ensuring exceptional post-sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to not just meet but surpass sales targets. Identifying opportunities for growth and market expansion is pivotal.
- Account Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with key accounts within the designated territory. Understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions is imperative.
- Trial Coordination: Oversee and manage product trials in collaboration with healthcare facilities. Providing consistent guidance and support throughout the trial period is vital.
- Clinical Support: Offer hands-on assistance and guidance during urology procedures employing our devices. Collaborating with healthcare professionals is crucial to ensure optimal device utilisation and successful outcomes.
- Proposal and Deal Negotiation: Craft and present compelling proposals to potential clients, skilfully negotiating terms and securing lucrative sales deals.
- Conference Participation: Act as the representative at industry conferences, seminars, and trade shows. Networking with potential clients and key opinion leaders (KOLs) is essential for fostering partnerships.
- KOL Management: Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders in the urology field. Establishing and nurturing these relationships can significantly promote our products.
- Post-Sales Support: Ensure optimal customer satisfaction post-sale by promptly addressing queries, providing technical assistance, and facilitating comprehensive training programs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be available for 40 hours per week (full time)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ successful sales experience in the medical device industry, particularly with surgical lasers or related technologies.
- Industry Understanding: Profound comprehension of the healthcare landscape.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with key decision makers.
- Results-Driven Approach: Demonstrated drive to not just meet but exceed sales targets.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Organisational Ability: Highly organised with excellent time management skills to effectively navigate and manage a substantial territory.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in medical device sales, particularly within the urology domain.
- Independence and Goal-Oriented: Capability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and consistently achieve sales objectives.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel within designated regions as per business requirements.
Additional Information:
- Competitive salary, car allowance of $18,000 and comprehensive benefits package commensurate with experience.
