We have an exciting new opportunity for a vibrant and performance driven Housekeeping professional to join our team as a Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor.

Reporting to our Housekeeping Assistant Manager you will run the operations with a hands-on approach, as well as inspiring the housekeeping team to create memorable and unique experiences for the customers visiting our hotel.

Job Description

in this role you will:

• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to uphold cleanliness standards and following the inspection guidelines.
• Maintain an accurate and proper inventory of all stocks, guest supplies, linens etc. to prevent pilferage or loss of any nature.
• Assist with identifying areas where re-training, refresher training and self-checking training is required, and conduct training accordingly.
• Ensure that the control and procedures of “Lost and Found” is properly recorded and stored accordingly.
• Accountable for the proper usage of all equipment and their periodical servicing to ensure efficient working conditions.
• Ensure that room cleaning productivity monitored closely and maintained
• Through close supervision recommend improvements in operation, especially in the following aspects of developing a better service standard
• Working closely with the Hotels laundry provider to ensure a high standard of laundering is maintained and linen, guest laundry and uniforms are returned to the Hotel in accordance with service contracts.
• Conducting inventory on a regular basis and investigating stock losses within the Hotel and laundry provider.
• Any other reasonable duties within the Housekeeping management team scoope as required

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in supervisory roles within a Hotel environment
• A team player able to work collaboratively with all departments
• Friendly, professional and engaging demeanour with the ability to remain calm, positive, and level-headed during peak service periods dealing with any situations that may come your way
• Accountability and proactivity
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to go out of your way to create memorable experiences for our guests
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• A high standard of grooming and presentation
• Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
