Inbound Specialist – Fruit & Veg

• Be a part of the team that ensures product flow and range configuration is optimal across the Woolworths Distribution Centre (DC) network
• There will be weekend work required as our Produce Distribution Centres (DCs) work 7 days per week. You will work a minimum one day per weekend (exact roster to be confirmed with the successful applicant).

What you’ll do

In this particular role, you will be responsible for seamlessly managing the inbound flow of Fruit & Vegetables (produce) into the Woolworths DC network. This role is responsible for the efficient and timely scheduling of Vendor & 3PL purchase orders.

• You will collaborate with the Commercial team, Primary Connect, and 3PLs to ensure maximum on-shelf availability & efficient use of DC resources.
• Facilitate the rollout of fruit and vegetable inbound planning across the network
• Manage and influence storage levels at your DCs & 3PLs to optimise cost and ensure no operational issues arise as a result of DCs being too full
• Slot purchase orders into DCs at appropriate times & ensure your flow of stock into DCs is smooth across the day and week

What you’ll bring

• A positive attitude and a desire to understand the root cause of situations or problems.
• Intermediate administration skills including MS Excel Skills
• Superior relationship management skills in building rapport with peers/stakeholders of all levels and resolving conflict to achieve business outcomes
• Proven experience in negotiating and dealing with stakeholders of different levels to deliver specific outcomes and objectives
• Strong detail orientation and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and develop creative solutions to meet business needs
