Job Description

Mark, assemble and punch simple and complex components according to drawings or other documents and production instructions.

Handle components and assemblies with electric hoist, forklift, and/or overhead crane.

Occasionally weld simple and complex components according to drawings or other production documents and instructions.

Mark, assemble, tack and occasionally weld, grind copper sheets inside the tank or other components.

Cut, pound, weld, and assemble piping, CWB welder qualification with oxy-acetylene, electric arc, and pulsed arc.

Knowledge and ability to operate oxy-acetylene and electric arc-welding equipment (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, pulsed arc), on all metals.

Qualified under CWB standards, welder category “FS”, pos.1GF and successfully complete qualification tests.

Occasionally perform weld leakage checks and repairs according to established specifications and methods.

Read blueprints for assembly and welding of simple and complex components.

Complete verification sheets of required documents.

Specific Background and skills

Diploma of Vocational Studies obtained after 18 months to 2 years of training

Knowledge and skills acquired through previous experience: 2 years

Manual dexterity and attention to detail

Variety in your task: varied work

Responsibility for materials and equipment during handling
