About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Recruitment or Managing Consultant to join our Finance & Procurement team based in Perth. This position will be working commercial roles and you will be stepping into a busy desk, working with top tier clients.

As a recruitment consultant in Robert Walters you will not only manage relationships with our large and well-known client base but also develop new business under the Robert Walters brand. You will be surrounded by a successful, stable and supportive team that wants to see you succeed, where candidates are shared and not owned, and clients are fairly split.

We want to further grow and expand the team and are looking for an experienced professional who will have opportunities to grow their career. You will be supported by a Senior Manager and an Associated Director with over 15 years combined recruitment experience and great knowledge and networks in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, nurturing and developing existing client relationships through meetings, client functions and events
  • Understanding client’s business operations and solving their recruitment needs
  • Developing new business with prospective clients and keeping in regular contact to build positive, productive and long-term corporate relationships
  • Selecting and matching candidates for appropriate positions, arranging interviews and fully briefing candidates on the company and role
  • Taking responsibility for candidate care and keeping in regular contact with our candidates
  • Achieving revenue targets and meeting individual and team performance targets in a fast moving and competitive sales environment
  • Working closely with the wider leadership team to continuously identify and develop relevant business areas for

growth * Representing Robert Walters at meetings with new clients to win new business

  • Understanding the Company’s terms of business and negotiating (within pre-agreed parameters) on

fee rates to secure exclusive relationships and retain existing business * Managing and closing complex deals and assisting other team members with the same

  • Creating new initiatives, working in an innovative and commercial manner

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong commercial acumen with a natural sales ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive and positive approach with a strong team ethic
  • Persistence, resilience, drive and determination to succeed
  • Experience within a similar role or otherwise experience within a dynamic environment within a commercial role
  • Other key areas of experience we look for is within sales, communications and banking/ financial services/ accounting experience or commercial procurement experience however recruitment experience is essential for the Managing Consultant position but negotiable for Senior Consultant
