SENIOR FARM HAND, PINGELLY WA Job Details:
This is a mixed property cropping 7,000Ha with 4,000 sheep. The cropping consists of barley, wheat, canola and around 1,500Ha of export hay, they run modern John Deere and Claas equipment. The farm is located in Pingelly, 180 kms south east of Perth, with access to a vibrant local community. They are seeking an experienced senior farm hand to join their team.

About the Role:
- Senior Farm Hand will opportunity to progress to 2IC
- Ability to lead a team and oversee operations in farm managers absence
- Machinery operating –
- Tractors, mowers, balers, boom spray, header etc
- Truck driving at harvest
- Stock work
- Mechanical repairs and servicing
- General Farm duties
About You:
- Previous cropping/stock experience
- Mechanical skills
- Able to work towards deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure during busy cropping periods
- Ability to lead a team
- MC truck license
- Non-smoking preferred
What’s on offer:
- Hourly rate: $35+ depending on experience and qualifications
