About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a dynamic Social worker to join the Northern Mental Health Service team.

As a Social Worker you will be accountable to the Team Manager for the provision of assessment and treatment services for consumers of Wondakka Community Rehabilitation Centre which aim to optimise health outcomes. In this role you may rotate through a series of clinical services.

Social Workers apply clinical experience, increasing clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated services to the needs of clients of Wondakka.

In this role you may provide direction and support to less experienced staff, Community Rehabilitation Workers and students.

As a Social Worker you will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and liaise directly with medical, nursing staff of NALHN and with other community agencies.

To be eligible for this position, you must hole an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
