ROCK PICKER OPERATOR, VARLEY WA Job Details:

A Rock Picker Operator is required for a large broadacre family farm with a 13,500Ha cropping program in Varley, WA (4.5 hours south-east of Perth). Starting mid-April until early June, you must have some tractor experience. Accommodation with an evening meal provided along with a competitive hourly rate depending on previous experience. You will be well looked after by this lovely farming family. This is a non-smoking property.Good things to know:

• Family owned and operated;
• Cropping program 13,500ha;
• Team of 10;
• Located 4.5 hours south-east of Perth;
• You can get there by bus.

About the role:

• Starting mid April until end of season (early June);
• Operating New Holland tractor picking rocks;
• Working ahead of the seeding crew to clear the land, therefore working alone in tractor a lot of the time, other times working with one of the Farm Owners;

About you:

• Must have some tractor experience;
• Enjoy working on your own;
• Enjoy working long hours;
• Attention to detail and care with what you do;
• Positive, friendly attitude;
• Good communication skills;
• Non-smoker;

• Hourly rate: $30+ depending on experience;
• 10 to 12 hour days, 6 to 7 days a week;
