Production Administration Officer Job Details:

JBS Australia’s pork-processing facility is located in Port Wakefield, South Australia. All pigs are sourced from APIQ-accredited farms and is 100% bred, grown and finished in Australia with industry best-practice animal welfare standards. The brand, Seven Point Australian Pork, was developed specifically to meet the needs of an increasing desire from consumers for ‘locally made’ and ‘Australian made’ product.

About the Role:

A dynamic and permanent opportunity exists for a dedicated and passionate Production Administration Officer here at Seven Point Pork.

This role is not your typical Administration role. Based at Port Wakefield this role involves Administration relative to production, in addition to backfilling Payroll and Livestock Ordering to accommodate staff leave. This is a pivotal role in relation to daily operations and will require an individual with expert attention to detail and sound attendance.

The role of Production Administration Officer will involve the:

• Reconciling of processed porcine head count
• Responding to Wholesale Customer enquires/ complaints.
• Processing customer invoices (PRONTO)
• Reconciling of Inventory Systems
• Use of industry specific software (Uniworks)
• Completing Purchase Orders
• Answering and directing of Telephone Enquires (Switchboard)

About you:

• An advanced understanding and use of Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable and fluent using Windows based PCs and the Microsoft office suite.
• Flexibility, this is not your average role and may require work outside of the normal scope of hours.
• Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work autonomously and fast paced.
• Ability to commit to the role and become a part of the SPP family.
• Demonstrated excellence in both internal and external customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and order role tasks.
• Accepts responsibility and ownership of their decisions.

Ordinary Hours: 7:00am- 3:36pm. These hours require some flexibility from you.
