Duties: Oversee and proactively manage clients’ daily activities, including financing, margin, trade clearing, and settlements. Provide support to institutional investors, particularly Tier-1 hedge funds focused in Latin America. Help clients contact multiple trading and operational groups and navigate functionalities of the firm’s Markets platform. Perform quantitative analyses to interpret financial data, metrics, balances, revenue, and return trends. Analyze impact of corporate events and accounting changes. Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with client’s key decision makers through daily interactions, meetings and events. Customize service models that meet clients’ operations and technology needs by analyzing their investment opinions across asset classes. Capitalize on client relationships to influence the Prime Finance business’ revenue increasing opportunities. Deploy the proper technology and consultative services as clients mature and expand into new products, markets and strategies. Represent the firm’s Prime Brokerage and Financing capabilities to current and prospective clients. Responsible for the client experience inclusive of product, technology, and operations across cash equity, fixed income and synthetic Prime Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in any field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Prime Finance Account Manager, Investment Analyst, Financial Analyst, Research Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Asset classes including equities, distressed credit, high yield, FX, and derivatives inclusive of options; market changes’ impacts on financing models and margin calculations; managing projects with 3rd parties such as accountants, legal counsel and fund administrators; researching, following up on and resolving client inquiries through interaction with internal operating teams and counterparties; calculating financial ratios including ROI and ROA; regulatory environment impacts on financial ratios, portfolio management and asset performance; corporate actions including P&I, mergers, and re-structuring; coverage of Latin American financial clients; Latin American financial clients’ portfolio strategies; and advanced Excel functions, including Lookup & Reference, Database and Logical formulas, and Pivot Tables.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
