You will ensure that preventative maintenance programs are followed and improved upon to reduce down-time and production costs. You will lead and mentor the maintenance team consisting of Millwrights and Electricians.You are the ideal candidate if you have the following traits:Lead collaboratively across departmentsConflict management; able to resolve issuesMaintain a professional relationships internally and externallyContinuous Improvement mindset; you want to make improvements and reduce costsExcellent trouble shooting skills able to work collaboratively with all departmentsEffective communication skills, able to coordinate work orders to teamYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:Journeyperson ticket/license or Engineering Education preferredLeadership experience, leading maintenance teams preferredProven hands-on experience within food industry or high-speed packaging plant preferredWorking knowledge of SAP CMMS would be an assetHow you will make contributions that matter:Provide leadership to maintenance personnel through coaching and mentoringSupervision, evaluation and motivation of personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently, effectively and safelyEnsure the efficient and effective use of labour, equipment and material resourcesLiaise with the Production Department to monitor and maximize machine efficienciesEnsure Contractors are in compliance with the Saputo Contractor Safety ProgramsMaintain effective internal and external working relationshipsHold employees accountable for complying with all facility Health & Safety requirements and provincial regulationsConduct daily inspection of work areaWe support and care for our employees and their families by providing:Competitive salariesAdvantageous corporate agreementsFull range of group insurance benefitsGroup retirement pension plan with employer contributionPurchase option of company stocksGroup RRSPHealth and wellness program in the workplaceAssistance program for employees and their familiesOur story began in Canada in 1954, when the Saputo family’s hard work and dedication created a thriving dairy business.
