The Intern, Warehouse Coordination will support the Warehouse Manager with productivity and continuous improvement initiatives. Functions will include learning day-to-day operations of Atlantic Warehousing processes, including Food Safety, Health & Safety, Productivity Reporting, Financial Understanding, as well as understanding operations from a regional perspective.

The Internship Program will begin on May 13th and end August 16th, 2024.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER…

Work on productivity initiatives, monitoring warehousing operations, including order pickers, and well as other warehouse staff;

Develop a Health & Safety as well as a Food Safety survey to be able to see gaps in required management communication to employees

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU…

Are currently pursuing a post-secondary education (or equivalent) in Business/Administration (Logistics, Supply Chain management or related field) (Minimum second year undergrad);

Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;

Have previous related internship experience (an asset);

Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;

Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners, quickly building relationships;

Experience in food manufacturing (an asset);

Master Office suite programs and applications;

Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
