The Human Resources Associate assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Work includes projects in all of the following functional areas: Legal, Compliance, Benefits, Recruitment, HRIS, Employee Relations, Training and Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintains confidential personnel and driver files, including ongoing file maintenance.
  • Provides administrative support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; maintains departmental equipment and supplies.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assists with employee relations as needed.
  • Distributes and processes initial new hire ADP onboarding documents to ensure timely entry into HR and Payroll systems.
  • Maintains all e-verify and I-9 documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Departmental filing, including year-end clear out and transfer.
  • Scans and uploads employee documents to their ADP document cloud.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Adheres to and promotes all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business of Human Resources preferred and two years of related experience
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate
  • Continual acute attention to detail is essential
  • Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products required: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Driver’s License required for related company travel; must meet company insurability standards.
