On behalf of our client Fresh Frontier Pty Ltd, we are advertising. Fresh Frontier is looking for a Human Resource Assistant/Advisor to join their team based in Bassendean WA 6054.

As an HR person, you will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.

Your main administrative duties include maintaining personal records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides), and updating internal databases.

A top HR administrator should be approachable, fair, and have good multitasking abilities. You should also be willing to attend workshops and training sessions wherever possible.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave).
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides.
  • Revise company policies.
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Organize and maintain personnel records.
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates).
  • Answer employee’s queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist the payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules).
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms.
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event).

HR Administrative Requirements

  • Certification in human resource management or similar.
  • Proven experience in an HR role.
  • Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and practices.
  • The ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
