Job Description:

In your role as a Supervisor at our 4.5-star hotel, you will be instrumental in ensuring the satisfaction of our guests by overseeing the housekeeping team. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, contributing to the hotel’s distinguished reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the cleaning and servicing of assigned guest rooms, adhering to established standards and procedures.
Manage linens, bed-making, carpet vacuuming, and furniture dusting processes.
Monitor and replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
Ensure cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including corridors and the lobby.
Promptly report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant department.
Address guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborate with the housekeeping team to optimize cleaning operations.
Uphold a positive and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.
Enforce safety and sanitation standards for a hygienic environment
determining work requirements and allocating duties to Housekeepers
conferring with managers to coordinate activities with other organizational units
maintaining attendance records and rosters
explaining and enforcing safety regulations
overseeing the work of the unit and suggesting improvements and changes
conferring with workers to resolve grievances
may perform front office and hotel reception duties.

Qualifications:

Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience

Prior supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
Strong attention to detail and a dedicated commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to lead independently and work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Customer-service-oriented attitude with exceptional friendliness.
Physical stamina and capability to handle heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
