GENERAL FARM HAND, KOJONUP WA Job Details:

An experienced General Farm Hand is required for a family owned and run property, our client runs a mixed farm, with a cropping program of 1200Ha and up to 9000 sheep at peak season, located near Kojonup in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, about 250 kilometres south-east of Perth. Our client will train in some areas if you are willing to learn, possess a good attitude and strong work ethic.

About the Role:

• Operating broadacre machinery
• Undertaking farming activities including seeding, spraying, spreading, and harvesting
• Machinery maintenance and servicing, including welding and fabrication
• Sheep work
• Fencing and general farm hand duties

About You:

• Previous experience operating broadacre machinery
• Previous experience in a seeding, spraying and harvest operations
• Mechanical knowledge and welding skills
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude
• Be a team player along with the ability to work unsupervised
• Flexibility with seasonal work and work hours;
• Knowledge of Autosteer/GPS systems desirable (can provide training)
• Previous sheep experience is desirable
