A rare opportunity has become available within Darwalla to lease one of our owned free range broiler farms in beautiful South-East Queensland. The ability to run your own business with a large cash turnover, while dictating your own work/life balance is an enticing proposition.Darwalla is seeking expressions of interest from experienced, ethical and motivated farmers who have at least 5 years experience growing broilers in the poultry industry. You will be required to maintain current animal welfare and customer standards, including RSPCA outdoor and other compliance bodies.As a lessee you will be responsible for running your own business to supply poultry expertise, labour, power, gas and basic maintenance to grow our chickens on this 10-shed farm. Darwalla supplies the broiler birds, feed, shavings and water. There is an onsite 4 bedroom house included in the lease.Darwalla is a progressive family-owned poultry business with its own breeder rearing, breeder production, hatchery and broiler facilities, all located in the South East corner of Queensland.This position will become available in August 2024.
